Collectors who give a damn

Vinyl Tracker is not for everyone. It's for the people who actually care about what they own.

The Serious Collector

You have 50, 200, maybe 1,000 records. You know the difference between a first pressing and a reissue. You want to know exactly what you own, where it came from, and whether that second copy of Rumours is the same pressing or a different one.

You have tried spreadsheets. You have tried notes apps. You have tried Discogs, but you want something that works offline, loads instantly, and does not ask for a monthly subscription just to view your own collection.

Vinyl Tracker was built for you.

  • Owns 50+ vinyl records and still buying
  • Wants a proper catalog, not a notes app
  • Cares about pressings, labels, and release details
  • Refuses to pay monthly for a collection tool
  • Wants data on their device, not in someone else's cloud

$4.99

One-time payment. Lifetime access.

No subscriptions. No tiers. No upgrade nags. Pay once, catalog forever.

Common questions

Does Vinyl Tracker work without internet?

Yes. Vinyl Tracker is built offline-first. Your entire collection is stored locally on your device using IndexedDB and localStorage. You can browse, search, and edit your catalog without any internet connection. You only need internet when scanning a new barcode to fetch album data from MusicBrainz.

Can I import my Discogs collection?

Absolutely. Export your Discogs collection as a CSV file and import it directly into Vinyl Tracker. The app will match your records against MusicBrainz to fill in any missing metadata. You can also import from any standard CSV format.

What devices does it run on?

Vinyl Tracker is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so it runs in any modern browser on any device: iPhone, Android, iPad, laptop, desktop. Install it to your home screen for a native app experience. No app store required.

Where is my data stored?

Your data lives entirely on your device. There are no servers storing your collection. You can export your entire catalog as JSON or CSV at any time for backup. Your data is yours; it is never uploaded, never sold, never lost on someone else's server.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Since your collection is stored in your browser's local storage, clearing browser data would remove it. That's why we include full export functionality. We recommend exporting a backup periodically. You can re-import it instantly if needed.

Is there a free trial?

Vinyl Tracker is a one-time $4.99 purchase. There is no trial, but there is also no subscription, no ads, and no hidden costs. You pay once and own it forever. If you catalog even a handful of records with it, it has already paid for itself in time saved.
